Full Members:
This diverse membership spans various sectors of the novel nicotine industry, including retailers, manufacturers, distributors, research organisations, and testing laboratories. Each member brings valuable insights and resources to GINN's mission, and it is expected that the membership will continue to grow in the weeks ahead.
GINN’s rapid growth is a testament to the vital importance of our evidence-based and science-led mission. At the heart of GINN's work is our Science and Standards Committee, chaired by Dr. Bonnie Coffa, Scientific Director of Toxicology at Labstat International. This committee is integral to ensuring that all our advocacy and initiatives are grounded in rigorous scientific research and best practices.
Seats on the Science and Standards Committee are available to members who bring expertise in clinical studies, pharmacokinetics, policy and regulation, and medical fields. This collaborative approach ensures that GINN remains a trusted, authoritative voice in promoting reduced-risk nicotine products, setting the highest standards for safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across the industry.
Shem Baldeosingh, Director of GINN, said:
“All of our members are committed to collaboration and responsible innovation, and each brings their unique expertise and perspectives, strengthening our collective ability to advocate for science-driven approaches in the novel nicotine space.
“We are thrilled that so many respected companies have chosen to join with us in such a short space of time, which speaks to the appetite in the sector for a membership-body that advocates not only for their interests, but also for the clear public health goals of switching to less harmful products such as oral pouches and heat-not-burn.
“This breadth of experience and knowledge will be crucial as we work together to shape the future of the novel nicotine industry, always keeping public health and consumer safety at the forefront of our efforts."
GINN's growing membership reinforces its position as a pivotal force in shaping the future of the sector. Discussions and consultations with several companies are ongoing and it expects to continue welcoming new members who share its commitment to science-led advocacy and responsible industry practices.
